Steps:
- Go to your search bar, and type in “Settings”
- Click on “Devices”
- Printers and Scanners
- Click on the printer you want to adjust
- Click on “Manage”
- Printer Properties
- Advanced
- Printing Defaults
- Select the options you prefer, and click “Apply”
- Ok
- Now, these are the default settings for your printer
To test out if your default settings are saved:
- Go to Google Chrome
- Click on the three dots at the top right corner
- Click Print
- Print Using System Dialogue,
- Click on the printer you want to see,
- Click Preferences
- Now you should see your default settings
Things to remember:
- If you click on the preset, “Factory Default,” it reverts to duplex and color.
